You never tested usb a chargers. But nonetheless, USB A adapters rated at 12W or ginger will charge the iPhone 15 Pro Max at 7.5W maximum since apple limit usb a power to 7.5W and anything higher will need a PD compatible charger of 5V 3A and above. Either way, I still use a USB A charger as long as I’m not in a rush to preserve battery health

Hello, I found your video after searching for Vooc 5V charger on Supervooc smartphone compatibility. At the 1:07 point in your video, the Supervooc phone only pulls 16W from the 30W 5V/6A charger. I have done some testing myself and I have found that the Vooc protocol is very sensitive when there are measuring devices in between. I believe that if you remove the power-z device then you will notice a higher power pull through the mains socket. You will not be able to see the power going to the phone but you can still measure it at the mains socket or detect it with some android ampere application.

Love these teardown videos. Great job, and anker looks like they really do make high quality chargers for a great price. These remind me of Apple quality internals.

Makes me have a new appreciation of the extra attention to safety and internal parts quality on a simple adapter. This is so Apple. People love to hate on them but they have always been pretty solid on safety and using good quality parts, good to see even the relatively inexpensive 20w adapters have good internals too.

A bit thick but light. Supports charging iPhones at 27W and most Androids at 25W PPS. Fairly priced at roughly $20 USD. Uses quality EVE batteries. These guys are gonna eat Anker's lunch.

Can you do a video on those cheap Aliexpress Sub $100 compact/slim 300w GaN chargers? Theres tons of them flooded on aliexpress and Im curious if they can really meet the 300w claims and how safe they are.

No Teardown? I cant really tell if this is a good or bad charger tbh cause it does seem like it can hit the 100-120+ mark probably through certain xiaomi devices, but it doesnt seem like it can do the high speed handshakes w/ non xiaomi devices yet it will do the weird volt/amp combinations that laptops & handhelds ask of a charger.

I was hoping you could shed some light on Samsung's Super Fast Charging (25W) voltages which theoretically requires a 3A PPS 3-5.9V capable charger, while in reality draws around to 9V 3A in my own tests from 3A PPS 3-11V third party chargers. Would it be possible to compare the charging performance and voltages of chargers that only meet Samsung's minimum requirement for super fast charging (3A 3-5.9V PPS) to the more mainstream 3A 3-11V PPS chargers? In my current UGREEN charger (I have one with 3 USB-C ports + 1 USB-A port, 100W total capacity), the behavior is that when I’m using port USB-C1 and if I connect a device in USB-C2, then USB-C1 loses power and re-energizes. This power cut is annoying because I have a modem without a battery connected to USB-C1 and it resets whenever this happens. Did they fix this in this model?
